If you are planning a party, then you might want to have it at Italian eateries that offer some of your favorite authentic cuisines like pizza, spaghetti, and cheese ravioli. There are several different types of authentic Italian restaurants to choose from. You might want to visit a pizzeria, café, or even an up scale, 5 star restaurants that serve gourmet food. If you want to visit the high end five star restaurant, be sure that you get reservations. Call the restaurant and ask if they have any tables open for reservations. Be sure to call in advance or they might not have any reserved seating available. Find out if they have an online menu where you can look at the different wines and authentic Italian cuisine that they have. An online menu will also let you check the prices on their appetizers, entrees, seafood, and fine desserts. If you do not want to spend the money on a five star restaurant, then you might want to order delivery or take out from an Italian restaurant that has Sicilian pizzas, sandwiches, spaghetti, and other authentic pastas and foods so that you can dine at home. Ask the café if they have a to go option so that you can order the food from them even though you will be dinning at home. Another option is to find a specialty ethnic Italian shop in your area that has authentic Italian pastas and ingredients. When you purchase ingredients from a specialty shop, you might be able to make the food yourself, which is usually less expensive than buying plates from restaurants.

People who love Italian food, such as fresh seafood, meat and vegetable pastas, grilled fish, rotisserie chicken, salads, sandwiches, and homemade desserts will often eat in Italian restaurants. Italian restaurants are often a popular destination for groups looking for interesting and lively dining experiences. Since wine is a popular beverage in the Italian diet, most Italian restaurants carry a wide variety of wines from which to select. Italian restaurants are sometimes nationwide chains where the recipes are developed by groups of chefs, however some Italian restaurants are family owned and operated using recipes dating back to the family's grandmother's kitchen.
